This restaurant is a simple but classic affair with well prepared food. The terrace looks out over the Pine trees in the park opposite while the interior depicts it's namesake, the parakeet amidst white linen table cloths. Prices for mains range between €20 and €30 with good examples of local Provençal food served, beef stews, grilled fish seasoned with herbs and aioli and legumes platters.

Menus start at €18.50 for lunch up to €46 for the menu Bois Doré. Dishes includes examples such as oysters, lobster, foie gras, sea bass and fillet steak.

Although this is a beach side restaurant, complete with sun mattresses and parasols, the restaurant is reportedly a cut above the usual beach side cuisine of salads and snacks. It classes itself as a 'European' restaurant but as the menu reveals, with dishes such as Bouillabaisse and truffle butter risotto, the influence is decidedly Mediterranean. You will find salads and burgers but the 'Hamburger Royal', comprising of steak hache, foie gras and half lobster tail, will see off any big mac.
