La Taverne d'Antan is a self styled medieval restaurant which in a town like Eze is sometimes just what you are looking for if you want total immersion in the 'ancienne.' Although with names on the menu like Roy Arthur (King Arthur) and Lancelot it may be just a little confused as to whose history it is re-enacting. Still it is a bit of fun and you can't really go wrong with cheeses, cold meats and roast dishes. All in good spirit and trés atmospheric.
