Beausoleil is perched 163 metres above sea level at its highest point, on the South Eastern corner of the French Riviera. It is tucked between the glamourous Principality of Monaco, which lies directly beneath Beausoleil, and the mountainous French village of La Turbie further above it. It is very aptly described as a terrace on the Mediterranean as it clings to the mountains that sweep down to the sea around Monaco.

Beausoleil is in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region of France and, at only 279 hectares housing 12,846 residents, it is quite a densely residential area. However, as is typical of France, it is a stacked town made beautiful by leafy market squares, soaring sea
views and trees and flowers on every street corner.
It's proximity to Monaco means that it is, in truth, a suburb of Monaco, albeit a cross border one. The streets run into each other and the borders are indiscernible. Property prices ensure that it is firmly a French town but as a competitively priced holiday destination it offers welcome relief from Monaco's prestige.
The nearest Airport to Beausoleil is Nice Cote d'Azur International Airport. From there there are buses, taxis and trains to Beausoleil. Technically Beausoleil doesn't have it's own train station but as its streets stream into Monaco there is little difference between the two and Monaco Gare is just beside Beausoleil's Avenue d'Alsace.

Beausoleil, by nature of its topography, is a town of apartments. Clinging to the cliffs behind Monaco many of the properties enjoy lovely sea views and panoramic vistas.
