Roquefort-les-pins Mountain View Villa is a magnificent Provencal style property situated in the countryside 2km from Roquefort-les-pins village and surrounded by forest. It is perfectly situated for exploring the French Riviera being only 14km from the A8 motorway allowing easy access to Nice, Monaco, Cannes and St Tropez.
This peaceful getaway is set in 24 hectares including beautiful mature lawned gardens featuring a central pond, a large heated swimming pool (salt system), a badminton and tennis court, a boules court and a lovely covered outside barbeque and dining terrace. The property is built on the ruins of a small hamlet and has been fully renovated and decorated to the highest standard while still maintaining its rustic charm and sense of history. Neutral warm colours flow throughout complimenting the luxury and comfort of this beautiful house.
The entrance to the property is through wrought iron gates, and the driveway leads to a parking area for at least ten cars. The main house has three floors and six bedrooms. There are also two adjacent guest cottages with additional bedrooms. The ground floor of the main house has a large living area with beautiful fireplace, a fully equipped large family kitchen, a dining area and two terraces. The upper floor has four ensuite bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, full bathroom, private terrace and magnificent mountain views. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, ensuite toilet private terrace, and pool and garden views. This bedroom shares a bathroom with the third bedroom. The third bedroom also has a queen-sized bed, ensuite toilet and beautiful garden and forest views. The fourth bedroom has a double bed, ensuite bathroom and mountain views.
The lower ground floor of the main house has an additional living room and a study. There are also two bedrooms on this floor. The fifth bedroom has a double bed and ensuite bathroom and looks out to the garden. The sixth bedroom has a single bed and a private bathroom. The first guest cottage also has three floors. This charming cottage has an entrance and bedroom on the ground floor. This seventh bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. The eighth bedroom is on the lower garden level and also has a queen-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. The garden level has a sitting room, dining area, kitchen and outside well. The second guest cottage has a kitchen with a dining area and one bedroom. This ninth bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite shower room.

This luxury country getaway, located in Roquefort-les-pins, halfway between Cannes and Nice is only 14km from the A8 motorway allowing easy access to explore the French Riviera. It is approximately 25km (35minute drive) from Nice, 20km (30 minutes) from Antibes and Cannes, 47km (50 minutes) from Monaco and 98km (95 minutes) from St Tropez.
The villa is surrounded by forest with magnificent views of the mountains, yet is only 2km from Roquefort-les-pins village, shops and restaurants. Roquefort-les–pins comprises a series of hamlets in the midst of a pine forest. You can explore the caves, the prehistoric remains in the Museum de Grasse or the 19th century church of Notre Dame (Chapel of Sacré-Coeur). The charming neighbouring villages of Le Rouret and Valbonne are only 5km away. Le Rouret is famous for growing scented plants destined for the perfume distilleries of Grasse such as jasmine, roses, orange trees and violets.
Valbonne is a delightful little town where you will find chic boutiques, restaurant terraces, antique dealers and craft shops. You can also explore the old monastery built in the Romanesque – Gothic style or the recently restored Roman aqueduct. Close by is Saint-Paul de Vence famous for its contemporary art galleries and vineyards.
If it’s a day at the beach you are looking for then head for Villeneuve Loubet which stretches down to the coast and has 4km of beautiful sandy beaches. For outdoor enthusiasts the nature park of La Brague is on your doorstep with 480 ha where you will find botanical trails, hiking, horse riding and many more outdoor activities. Roquefort-les-pins is also close to 5 golf courses (15minutes) and skiing (45minutes). You will find there is something for everyone.
