This is a beautiful provincial villa tucked away in the picturesque hills of the French Riviera. It’s farmhouse décor, vast lush gardens, swimming pool, fireplace and BBQ area, make it a perfect getaway location, no matter what time of year.
The interior of the villa assumes a lot of character from the building itself – old doors, exposed beam ceilings, roughly cut tile floors – all create a very traditional, homely environment in which to relax.
One of the main features in the living room is the large, stone fireplace that runs over halfway up the wall, perfect for chilly winter nights. By contrast, there is a very large terrace and BBQ area, surrounded by a well-established garden and overlooking the pool.
There are comfortable, soft leather sofas to curl up on in the spacious living room, and a television and DVD player for your entertainment. The living room leads through to the dining area, with a lovely farmhouse dining table that can generously seat up to 10 people. Finished with a quality, antique cream cabinet and set of drawers, this is a very special area in which to enjoy meals together.
The tiled kitchen boasts a very large oven and all modern conveniences, including a family-size fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

There are five bedrooms in the villa – two double rooms, two singles and a twin room. The master bedroom is quite large, and features plenty of storage as well as a delightful bathroom with sunken bath and brass fittings. Very romantic.
The second double room is also lovely, with wrought iron bedside tables, lamps and a double bed. The two single rooms are cute and cosy.
The third double room is in a bungalow next to the main house. It benefits from its own shower and WC. In total, there are three bathrooms in the villa, and two WCs.
The grounds surrounding the property are just as grand and impressive as the villa itself. There are large, fenced-in gardens, making it perfect for children and animals. And of course the sweeping terrace and pool are perfect for summer entertaining.

Calmly wander around the pretty, narrow streets of Tourrettes sur Loup and admire the vaulted passageways, cobblestone streets and the many art houses that are dotted throughout. The village of Saint Paul de Vence is not far from the villa, a very popular medieval village famous for its quality art and restaurants. A car is strongly suggested if you would like to discover the neighbouring villages and the cities along the coast. Nice and Cannes are about 40 minutes drive from the villa.
