Menton is a beautiful Riviera town, ideally situated between Monaco and Italy, where the foothills of the Alps meet the blue waters of the Mediterranean.
It is around the corner from the Palais de l'Europe, which houses a theatre, art gallery and tourist office, and the beach and Promenade is just a street away. From the apartment you can walk out and buy a paper or have a coffee out on the terrace of a local cafe.
The apartment benefits from the luxuries of a modern home as well as the charming features of an old building. The apartment is on the first floor, reached by lift, and has high ceilings, tall windows and parquet floors.
The apartment comprises a living room with dining area and corner kitchen, a separate bathroom, and a double bedroom on the mezzanine level above.
In the living room are two French windows with black ornate railings, a bookcase and a television. There is a dining table and chairs, a white sofa which opens out into a double bed, and a pouffe which can be made into a single bed.

The bathroom is separate from the living room and is on the other side of a wall decorated by a frosted-tile window. On the opposite side of the room there is a fully equipped kitchen area.
The pretty double bedroom is on the mezzanine joined to the lounge by a staircase. It benefits from the sunlight coming in through the floor-to-ceiling French windows.
Menton is famous for its beautiful gardens. It is a pleasure to see so many tropical plants as you walk around a town.
The apartment is located beside les Jardins Bioves, splendid landscaped gardens in front of the Palais de l'Europe. It is home to outside exhibitions during the cheerful Fete des Citrons, a festival held annually in early spring where you will see parades of colourful floats decorated entirely with lemons.
The nearby Promenade stretches around to the charming old port and old town of Menton. Here you can marvel at the colourful houses and explore the winding streets, where there are many shops and restaurants.
Due to its great position, Menton gives you a lot of choice of places to visit in the area. The train station is close to the apartment, and from here you can easily get to Monaco and many towns on the French and Italian Riviera.
