This three bedroomed Nice Holiday Apartment is set in a great central location on Nice port, close to the old town for bars and restaurants and a short walk from the main shopping streets of Nice.
On the North side of the port it sits centre stage in a landmark building in Nice Port and is fully facing one of the most well known views of Nice town. South facing it is flooded with light and enjoys views from every one of it's elegant and tall shuttered windows.
The apartment is located in one of the traditional, period Nicois buildings that contribute to defining the façade of this pretty Mediterranean town. An imposing front door leads into the front hall, the marble stair case, worn by centuries of climbing feet, winds up to the apartment on the second floor.
The double front door opens into the centre of the apartment which occupies the entire front façade of this Nicois building and means that everyone of the soaring windows looks directly out over the Port and the glittering Mediterranean sea.
With full height double windows the apartment is flooded with light and air. The rooms are large and bright with tall 14ft ceilings adding to a sense of occasion. Delicate iron balustrades and shuttered windows bring the elegance of Nice architecture inside and form a picture perfect frame over the yachts in the marina.
“Save your cash by paying no security or damage deposit when you book by credit card” - Tip #53
The apartment is situated in the perfect location to explore the great restaurants around the Port, delve into the streets of the Old Town or shop in the famous Gallerie Lafayette in Nice's shopping district around Ave Jean Medicin. It is also close to the Acropolis for convention visitors, the Museum of Modern Art for art lovers and Nice beach for sun worshippers.
Because this apartment is right on the street there can be a lot of traffic noise from time to time due to public works and traffic diversions around the port, it's a super apartment in a bustling colourful port but don't reserve if you are looking for a quiet hideaway.

Nice Port is tucked between the famous Old Town of Nice and the hills of Mont Boron. It offers a more traditional and untouched view of a town that is increasingly aware of it's tourist heritage. Find typical Nicois cuisine in the restaurants and explore the back streets for a genuine Nice experience with interesting boutique shops, antiques in the flea market and quieter sea swimming en route to Mont Boron.

"As has been mentioned a few times in the reviews on this apartment, Nice Port due to its central location is a noisy area. This apartment is located right on Ile de Beaute (the main street that looks out over Nice Port) so if you're looking for peace and quiet, this apartment may not be suitable.
However, if you are looking for a large (3 bedroom) apartment in Nice Port close to the action and all the bars and restaurants that the port area has to offer, as well as a fantastic sea view, then this is a superb holiday option.
We would invite you to look at the following list of holiday rentals in more tranquil surroundings in Nice if you're looking for a relaxing getaway."
"This apartment is ruined by the unbelievable traffic noise. Sleep is impossible with the windows open which is necessary with no functional air conditioner. The bathroom is much too small and the issue of only one set of keys is an absolute inconvenience. I could not recommend this venue as a good place to stay in Nice."
"Very Nice apartment, with a great location. Unfortunately there is a lot of noice from the cars on the street. Nice is just a great city, we loved the stay. "
"This is a nice apartment furnished with modern furniture and comfortable beds. The views are great of the port and it is very well placed for the main bus routes along the coast and inland, and a short walk to the main bus station and old Nice. We used the buses a lot going to Monaco, Eze and Antibes for 1 euro a trip from right outside the apartment. It was great to get off the bus after a long day walking with children and step straight into the apartment. For this convenience you do have to pay a price though and that is that it is noisy with cars and buses in the evening especially. But we got used to it after the first couple of nights. Yes the bathroom is very small but it is adequate and the shower was hot and much better than some French rentals we have encountered. All in all we had a great week and are particularly grateful to Mike at Riviera Rental Guide for his help in rescheduling our holiday after our son was unexpectedly hospitalised at Easter."
"Enjoyed our stay at the apartment which is a great size for a party of 6-8. Somewhat unusual in its layout with only the one small bathroom but it didn't prove a problem. Overall great apartment and location."
"Very large apartment with an excellent location. I had a wonderful stay. The only downsides are that there is only one small bathroom (the bedrooms are huge) and it is all action and a bit noisy being right on the port. If you need quiet it is probably not for you, but I didn't have much of a problem."
"Nice Port apartment is right in the centre of Nice Port in a landmark architectural building. It is a great location from which to explore the antique shops in the immediate surrounding area or to enjoy the comings and goings of the yachts in the marina.
There has been development in recent years with plenty more refurbishment on the way and you will find some excellent restaurants that have graced the port through the ages mixed with some new contenders in the port area.
It is busy, bustling and original. You will feel like you are part of the city when you stay here and you will see a very real side of the city rather than a polished Tourist picture. It is not for people looking for quiet and solitude.
A vast and stunning city centre apartment in the hub of things."
"Thank you for this fabulous apartment in this truly fabulous location. Nice Port really is the beating heart of this lovely city, we had a super time and we absolutely loved the apartment, thank you again."
