The Property
Originally built in the 13th century, this is a lovely 1 bedroom village house on 3 levels. It is full of character and very spacious given the cramped nature of this amazing village. The entrance level is the main reception hall and has a storage area where bikes and outdoor equipment is stored. The first floor is the living room and kitchen, it is very comfortable with sofas, cushions and rugs on the ancient tiled floor. There is a very expensive and comfortable sofabed. There is a fireplace and a wood pile is available for your use. The ceilings are low in this original building and the original oak beams and iron works are visible. The top floor is the bedroom and offers a beautiful view over the Paillon valley and surrounding mountains. There are lovely walks direct from the front door over the mountains to La Turbie, Nice, Peille and even Turin! We must mention that the people of Peillon are warm and generous and enjoy welcoming visitors to our village home, we look forward to welcoming you. |
