Looking over the square itself, onto the famous St Reparate Cathedral and further still over the rooftops of Vieux Nice towards the Chateau and its waterfall, the apartment is one of very few in the Old Town to benefit from the Riviera sunshine. Equally, its Old Town location does not mean 'quaint' jaded decor - the apartment is entirely refurbished with a brand new fully-fitted kitchen, flat screen TV and large leather sofas. The traditional Niçois character remains, however, with a wood-beamed ceiling and delightful original fireplace.
Another rarity in the Old Town is peace and quiet - here, the top floor location on a quiet residential street means the tranquility to relax and leave the stress of everyday life behind. The bedroom looks directly over the dome of the St Reparate Cathedral - a spectacular and unrivalled view, and is nicely sheltered from noise and heat to guarantee you a good night's sleep.
The apartment sleeps 4 - there is one double bedroom, and in the sitting room there is a comfortable high-quality leather double sofabed. There is a modernised shared bathroom with shower. The fully-fitted American style kitchen contains all you could need to cater for yourselves during your break in Nice. There is a dining table and seating for four in the open plan kitchen/living area. Two large French windows at the end of the sitting room allow the Cote d'Azur sunshine to spill into the apartment, and offer access to a small balcony from which to admire the rooftops of the Old Town and watch the comings and goings in Place Rossetti below. In terms of location, the apartment is very well placed to experience all aspects of life in Nice. You are in the very heart of the Old Town and its narrow winding streets filled with boutiques, galleries, cafés and restaurants. A few minutes' walk will take you to the Promenade des Anglais and the many public and private beaches of Nice, and from there, the Chateau with one of the finest panoramic views on the Cote d'Azur. Continue round the coast and enjoy some seafood in the Port of Nice, or head back towards the centre of town to enjoy some shopping and admire the recently refurbished main square, Place Massena.
The apartment is minutes from the main bus station with links all over the Cote d'Azur (a single ticket is only 1 euro), and the new silent tramway which will take you to the North and East of Nice. Approximately fifteen minutes walk will take you to the main train station of Nice Ville, from which Cannes, Monaco and Italy are just a short journey away.
