The exterior facade of Villa Nice does little to reveal what awaits you inside. Tucked into 3000sq metres of mature Mediterranean gardens and surrounded by protected parklands the villa offers seclusion and privacy as well as natural beauty.
Situated in the hills surrounding Nice the view drops down onto one of Nice's grandest suburbs, Cimiez, a favourite with Queen Victoria, artist Matisse and home to the Nice Jazz festival. The 180 degree view stretches out over Nice city, Mont Boron in the distance, the Chateau over towards Villefranche and disappearing into the blue of the Mediterranean sea.
In the peace and tranquility of the sheltered gardens you can allow yourself to drift in the azure swimming pool and gaze over distant mountains, lush green trees or the blue blue sky. Garden furniture, a barbecue and a caretaker mean you can fully and comfortably enjoy the outside areas of Villa Nice.
You can expect nothing less from a villa in the South of France but the interior must also stand up and in Villa Nice what you get is unique, professionally decorated interiors that are vast, modern and fresh without releasing that French Provencal charm.
The main reception area boasts 100sq metres of space and is singularly decorated with trompe l'oeil style frescoes on the walls depicting scenes of grand vistas and ancient history that create drama and a totally individual living arena.
For your entertainment there is a formal dining area, a baby grand piano, a games table and bar area. A sunken sitting room, fully fitted kitchen and guest toilet complete the ground floor. On the first floor the master bedroom houses an American king size double bed with a huge en suite bathroom and panoramic views. The palette is soft and neutral creating a crisp fresh room. TV, DVD, stereo system, a walk in closet completes the luxury.
On the first lower level bedrooms two and three are to be found. These bright sunny rooms share a bathroom and are tastefully decorated in Mediterranean style, simple and elegant. The white tiled bathroom is large and modern with a signature glass sink and a beautiful warm teak finish.
All the rooms have large windows, are bright and airy with magnificent views. One of the bedrooms has it's own terrace leading to the pool area.
Bedrooms four and five are located on the second lower level and both share a bathroom. The decor is sunny yellows and creams offset by the lush greens of the garden which frame these pretty rooms through the large windows and patio doors.
One of the rooms has its own private access while the other has its own terrace which allows a little bit of privacy and space for all the guests of the villa. There is also a sauna on this level that can take up to four people which is very appealing in the winter months especially as Nice is so close to so many ski stations.
Villa Nice can comfortable accommodate up to ten people and a baby in its exclusive style. It has security and privacy, it has French charm and luxurious space. It has panoramic views, by day and by night, of mountains, sea and city while maintaining its reach of the city centre of Nice and the rest of the French Riviera.
