This luxurious palatial villa was built in 1860 by Chapoulard; an architect famed for his constructions along the Côte d’Azur and is surrounded by stunning landscaped gardens which exhibit design as well as providing privacy. A heated pool lies in the centre of the grounds and is surrounded by a large terrace and bathing area. A number of outdoor dining areas, both on terraces and in a covered pool house offer various dining options and all are accompanied by sea views. The property has a total of ten bedrooms, each thematically designed and named after world famous artists and it sleeps a total of twenty guests. The entrance level includes a number of these bedrooms namely The Gauguin, Van Gogh, Monet, Giacometti, all of which have garden and sea views and some of which have direct access to the pool and garden areas. Each of these rooms can be prepared as king-size or twin rooms and each one is elegantly designed.The even more luxurious Renoir and Turner suites are also located on the ground floor. In addition to this, a spacious living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen are also to be found. The remaining bedrooms are located on the first and second floors and in addition to ensuite bath/shower room access, these rooms also open onto sea-facing terraces enhancing their luxurious appeal. Whether relaxing in the peaceful surroundings of St. Raphael, partaking in active adventure sports such as sailing and water skiing or exploring the famed neighbouring towns of St. Tropez or Cannes, this luxurious property has much to offer and is ideally located to optimise your visit to the French Riviera.
Nestled between two of the Riviera’s most famous coastal towns, Cannes and St. Tropez and within 30 minutes of both, this villa is situated just outside the picturesque sea front town of St. Raphaël. Identified as one of the older and calmer resorts along the French Riviera, St. Raphaël hosts daily markets along the sea front where local produce is sold. However if dining out is preferred, there is an abundance of good quality restaurants offering local delights made from quality local produce.
Beautiful sandy beaches lie just 50m from the villa while the property itself boasts breathtaking Mediterranean Sea views. From the villa, spectacular sea front walks stretch as far as St. Raphaël to the left and l’île d’Or to the right.
Both within the villa itself and in the immediate surrounding area, a number of sports activities are catered for; the private port is ideal for nautical sports such as sailing and water skiing while the bigger port of Boulorise lies just 300m away where boat and yacht rentals are available. Other sporting facilities nearby include horse riding, tennis and golf with the oldest golf course on the Riviera; Golf of Valescure located just 7km from the villa.
The property is approximately one hour from Nice airport by car and the TGV train station of St. Raphaël-Valescure is just 5km away making the villa easy to access regardless of how you travel to the south of France.
