Gîte du Côté Sud is a beautiful property located in the heart of the countryside in Les Mayons, just thirty minutes from the glitz and glamour of St Tropez. If you have a love for the great outdoors and enjoy a little peace and relaxation, then this just might be exactly what you're looking for.
The property is beautifully tiled throughout with stone tiled floors which work wonderfully well with the choice of light, wooden furnishings. The living room has traditional, exposed wooden roofbeams, a large stone fireplace and a sofabed which unfolds to accommodate two guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing homecooked meals which can be enjoyed indoors by the fire or al fresco. The dining terrace is particularly impressive. It is surrounded by colourful, flowering plants and stunning views and from ovehead it is draped with delicate lavender.

Gîte Du Côté Sud is located near Les Mayons, a traditional village in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in the south of France. Nearby communes include Le Luc, Pignan and La Garde Freinet and the stylish town of St Tropez is just 30 km away by car.
Les Mayons has just one landmark, that of the Grandfather Chestnut Tree which is hundreds of years old, located in the centre of the village. There are many little streets leading from the village, ideal for taking a stroll, the most famous of which would be the Castel des Maures, leading through the pine, oak, cork and chestnut trees of Les Mayons. Local specialities include honey, jams, chestnuts and strawberries.
