CELINE DION PLAYS NICE 2008
Nice, early July
International chanteuse, Celine Dion is bringing her world tour to Nice this summer. The concert is scheduled to be held on the 5th of July at the Stade C. Erhmann Nikaia.
Her new world tour 'Taking Chances' was said to have been inspired by her son and her desire for him to get out and see the world.
Celine has just finished a long and successful stint on the Las Vegas show reel and is, no doubt, herself excited about taking her sound to the world stage.
Palais Nikaia is one of Nice's largest concert venues with some of the worlds biggest stars taking to the stage there.
Situated on the Route de Grenoble on the western outskirts of Nice, near Nice airport and at the end of Nice Promenade des Anglais, the palais is easy to reach and accessible by public transport.
Celine has Kicked off her world tour in South Africa already and is planning to tour throughout 2008 and into 2009.

The stadium is served by Nice Saint Augustin train station. There is also a supplemental bus service, number 95 that will run every ten minutes to shuttle people to and from Palais Nikaia. They will continue after the event also. In addition the regular bus service, line 9 and 10 will also run every ten minutes throughout the day.
