The Monte Carlo Sporting club annually hosts a series of summer concerts to inject some star studded clout into the summer season. The 2010 line up promises to be as spectacular as ever with iconic heavy weights such as Stevie Wonder and Elton John playing some special dates.

The venue is the beautiful Salles des Etoiles and tickets may include dinner and drinks under the stars on the terrace, check in advance to see if your ticket is a dinner ticket. Book tickets on-line to avoid disappointment and enjoy one of the most intimate settings with some of the world's biggest stars.

Tickets are available through Monte Carlo SBM or at the ticket desk inside the Monte Carlo Casino. FNAC, Carrefour and France Billet also carry tickets and can be accessed on line through Digitick.

Dress code: The dress code for such events in Monaco is dinner jacket mandatory and jacket and tie every evening in the Casino. There is valet parking and children must be accompanied by an adult.

The summer festival at le Sporting is a summer long schedule of events that sees some of the biggest stars coming to Monaco in a series of concerts.

Le Sporting is part of the Societe Bains des Mer group that owns and runs the Monte Carlo Casino and resort hotels. Le Sporting comprises several restaurants, nightclub, Casino and function room/ballroom.

It attracts some of the biggest stars and entertainers who are often used to playing stadiums and huge venues. This setting is a smaller and more intimate setting, set on the edge of the Mediterranean and including dinner.

2008 featured Motown ledgend Diana Ross in July. Other acts over the summer months included; Santana, Celine Dion, Katie Melua, Jill Scott, Alicia Keys, Macy Gray, Alanis Morissette, Biaggio Antonacci and guitar great, Eric Clapton. 2009 will be even more spectacular.
