This is a specialist car show where only the great, the wild, the powerful, the extreme, the fastest, the most expensive and the most luxurious cars in the world, and all those that construct them, get to show off their exotic wares.
In a blatant defiance of any economic downturns this most decadent display of machinery continues into its sixth year with abandon. With an exhibitors list that includes Porsche, Bentley, Ferrari, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Pagani, Koeningsegg and Bugatti as well as car couturier design houses Ital and engine maestros Brabus it will, at the very least, encompass all that is glorious at this end of the automotive.
Not only do you get a chance to indulge your voyeuristic tendencies there is also the possibility of getting your mitts on the steering wheel of some magnificent implement of raw power with test drives available by prior arrangement.
Even if you are not particularly interested in cars these rare and beautiful machines are always worth a look for their sheer improbability and the event is in keeping with Monaco's long tradition and love of cars, racing and all things fabulous.
Held annually in the Grimaldi forum the setting couldn't be better with close access to Monaco beach, Casino and bars and restaurants.

The Top Marques Super Car Show has some new dimensions to it for 2011. The 'see it, drive it, buy it' concept has been such a success, with sales of over €200 million in the sector attributed to the show, that the organisers have even more cars in 'the pits' than ever before that are available to drive.
The famous Monaco Grand Prix circuit is the test track of choice and drivers will have the exclusive chance to drive on the circuit with sections of the road closed off to recreate the Grand Prix atmosphere.
There will be six car premières as well as, new this year, the inclusion of stands representing super boats and luxury watches.
Showing at this years event are the top marques of Aston Martin, Bugatti, BMW, Lexus, Porsche, Pagani, Brabus, Koenigsegg, Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Fornasari, Atomik, Noble, McLaren, Teslar, Gumbert, Conquest and many more.
The 2011 Show will open its doors on 14th April when Monaco Lord Mayor, George Marsan, cuts the opening ribbon. The show is open to the public from 9.30am. |
