The poster for the 2010 Cannes Film Festival has been unveiled. It features the enigmatic French actress Juliette Binoche whose screen luminosity has captured audiences across the globe.
The poster follows a theme that was imitated two years ago featuring "heroines as representations of screen mysteries". In this image, a dressed down Juliette Binoche lights up the page with the words Cannes written in a single sweep of light.
The poster was created by Brigitte Lacombe with graphic design contributed by Annick Durban in what is termed a visual signature for the 63rd annual Cannes Film Festival.
The countdown for the festival continues with just 41 days to go until D-Day, the opening of the Festival. Celebrities and stars will begin the troop to the South of France in earnest and launch not just the beginning of the Film Festival but also the opening of the season here on the Cote d'Azur.
