2011 is shaping up to be a year of the Royals. First the whole world watched as the glamourous girl-next-door married her Prince in the British royal wedding of the decade, between Prince William and Kate Middleton. This was quickly followed by Prince Albert of Monaco's nuptials with Charlene Wittstock.
It is however the young and glamourous new generation of Royals that, as they come of age, are inspiring all the latest trends. Posh, it appears, is all the rage and a whole crop of well to do socialites and aristocrats are making a splash on the world stage.
Nicknamed the 'glossy posse', these young, groomed, titled and wealthy youngsters, led by Duchess of Cambridge, are noted for their positions of privilege but who, contrary to their position in society, are choosing to show a less flashy, more down to earth side of their entitled existence.
Pippa Middleton may have won the attention of the world with her gorgeous appearance at the Royal wedding, but she is as happy to be snapped in her training clothes competing in gruelling marathons and covered in mud. Kate Middleton, with the royal treasury at her disposal is happy to be snapped recycling her fabulous wardrobe while Princess Zara Philips is more likely to be snapped romping around a field with her horses and dogs as she is to be seen exiting the latest 'it' place to be seen.
Likewise, Princess Beatrice was snapped last week wandering the streets of St Tropez with her boyfriend Dave Clark. She was snapped wandering through the narrow streets, browsing in the boutique shops and also spending time on the famous Saint Tropez beach.
The young royal is no stranger to St Tropez and the family have spent many summers as guests of friends who own one of the stunning, luxurious holiday villas that dot the St Tropez landscape.
