The theme has been set for this years annual charity ball extravaganza that is the Rose Ball in Monaco and it has the stamp of London all over it. In honour of the host city for the 2012 Olympics the organisers of the Rose Ball will recreate London in the swinging sixties, a time of short skirts, hip cats and cool culture in the UK's capitol city.
The Rose Ball is an annual event that was first staged by Princess Grace to raise money for her foundation and is a tradition that her children have continued with. The ball is usually attended by all the members of the Royal family as well as a host of famous residents and visitors to Monte Carlo.
A star studded event it will be interesting to see how the glitterati decipher the black tie dress code and the short hemlines of 60's London fashion. Previous themes have included Moroccan nights, Spanish Flamenco and Motown.
The ball takes place on 24th March 2012. Tickets are available through the Monte Carlo Sporting website.
