|It is not the first time that Madonna will play in Nice and we hope that it won't be her last. It seems like there is no stopping the forever material girl who, with her 12th studio album, is showing no inclination to hang up her leotards and her dancing shoes.|
Not only has her new album, 'MDNA' hit the top of the Bilboard charts Madonna is also taking it on a world wide tour, bringing her latest offering to her fans in person. Despite being a number one hit her new album, as always, has sparked a debate amongst her critics. Always a controversial figure, she is currently criticised for not being ground breaking enough with this album while at the same time coming under fire for being a 54 year old woman behind a dance floor smash album.
The ultimate Queen of Pop can never win, she is either too much or too little but her fans never stray and the new album is a resounding success. Surely a woman who has been breaking the mould for so many decades has earned the right to produce any kind of album she feels is right for her at this time. While it may not strain at the sound barriers of musical evolution it is a departure for her Madgesty in that it is lyrically one of her most revealing albums to date.
Madonna will play at the Palais Nikaia Charles Ehrmann Stadium in Nice on 21st August 2012. Tickets will start at 64 and rise to 340 for front row position.
Ticket details are available from the Madonna official website under Tour dates, directly from Palais Nikaia or from usual local outlets such as FNAC, Carrefour and Auchan.
