Sir Bob Geldof will deliver a key note speech at this years TFWA exhibition which is held annually in Cannes. This years important trade show will take place on Monday 19 October to Friday 23 October.
In his delivery he will talk about ethical business philosophy, focusing on how it can be small changes that have the most significant impact and reminding us all that, in these hard financial times, it is the developing countries that are seeing the worst impacts of global recession.
Other key note speakers who are also delivering thoughtful speeches on conscientiousness, a more altruistic outlook on the future for businesses and "investing in mankind" are William P. Lauder, chief executive and grandson of the Estée lauder Companies and economist and president of the French reform commission, Jacques Attail.
The speakers will be presided over by BBC HARDtalk presenter Stephen Sackur who will be asking some tough questions of his own and conducting interviews.
The event is an important trade show for the industry and presents opportunities for buyers, distributors, journalists and authourities to network and socialise.
